The soundtrack includes the score used in Porco Rosso as composed by Joe Hisaishi, featuring the theme song "The Time of the Cherries" and ending song "Once in a While, Let's Talk About the Old Days" with vocals by Tokiko Kato. Committed to acoustic sound, this album was recorded by a full orchestra of 70 people.

"Porco Rosso" is a world-weary flying ace-turned-bounty-hunter, whose face has been transformed into that of a pig by a mysterious spell. When he infuriates a band of sky pirates with his heroics, the pirates hire Curtis, a hotshot American rival, to get rid of him. But with the help of the teenage girl Fio, an aspiring airplane designer, and a sultry lounge singer named Gina, Porco takes to the skies for what may be his final high-flying showdown.

Remastered and released in a deluxe edition single vinyl with 2 sides of music, housed in a gatefold jacket with new jacket artwork. This pressing is not etched. Japanese Import.
