Shipping & Policies

Order Cancellations and Edits

Please carefully review your cart and shipping address before placing your order as we are unable to modify orders once placed.
If your cart contains a pre-order item, the entire order will be held until the relevant release date. Orders containing any pre-order items may be edited up to a week before the release date.


Pre-orders will be charged immediately upon first placement of your order. Any orders with pre-order items included in them will be sent for delivery altogether when pre-order items are ready to ship.

Due to restrictions in licenses with our partners, the GKIDS store is only able to ship purchases to customers who live in the United States, Canada (on select titles), and U.S. territories. 

Standard shipments are mailed via United States Postal Service (USPS) unless otherwise specified or an expedited shipping selection is made. Shipments typically take 3-8 days to arrive after shipment, depending on where the customer is based. If you have trouble receiving your shipment, please refer to the tracking information on your shipment confirmation, or contact us using the information below. Shipments are sent within 48 hours of ordering, except for weekends and holidays.

Free shipping is available on select U.S. orders above $75. Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout, and automatically deducted if the purchase meets the $75 threshold for qualifying products. Free shipping is via USPS and at standard shipping service speed. Shipping price is determined by weight, and further listed in the table below.

Return Policy

You may return most items for a refund within 30 days of delivery. Our extended holiday return policy allows orders placed between November - December to be eligible for returns until January 15th.

Return shipping costs apply, and DVDs or Blu-rays must be in original sealed packaging to be accepted. Upon receipt of the merchandise, a full refund of purchase price and original shipping cost will be issued. To begin the return process, please fill out the Customer Inquiry Form.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please take a picture and contact us via our Customer Inquiry Form for assistance. Please note that if the damage is external and clearly evident, the original plastic wrap must be intact for us to have access to all avenues of assistance.


As slipcovers are a limited item that only comes with the first run of a film’s home video release, they may not always be available, especially for our older titles. Simply because a product image includes a slipcover does not mean they are still in-stock. Receiving an order without a slipcover is not grounds for a full refund, and would only qualify for a general return (see Return Policy above).


If you find a steelbook from your order is missing a booklet, please reach out to with the film title(s) affected, proof of purchase and your mailing address they can arrange to have the relevant replacement booklets sent to you.
