Experience Yoshihiro Kanno's magical soundtrack for one of the defining OVA masterpieces of the 80s on a gorgeous clear sky-blue colored vinyl. This is a reissue of the latest remastering with full jacket restoration, featuring an illustration by Yoshitaka Amano. Also included is an original fold-out color booklet with newly written liner notes (in Japanese and English) for 2025 by Yoshihiro Kanno and Hidenori Maejima, alongside a reprint of Mamoru Oshii and Takuya Katagiri original notes.

First released directly to home video in 1985, Angel's Egg is a creative collaboration between internationally acclaimed director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell), who wrote and directed the feature, and revered artist Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy, Vampire Hunter D). The film beautifully intertwines Oshii’s thematic reflections on philosophy and theology, with Amano’s distinctive ink painting style, culminating in an arrestingly beautiful hand-drawn allegorical fantasy.
