Including the beautiful theme "When I Remember This Life" sung by Kazumi Nikaido, this is the complete soundtrack to Studio Ghibli's 2013 film, The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya, composed by the studio's long-time musical collaborator, Joe Hisaishi. This is the first and the last collaborative work by director Isao Takahata and composer Joe Hisaishi. 

Found inside a shining stalk of bamboo by an old bamboo cutter and his wife, a tiny girl grows rapidly into an exquisite young lady. The mysterious young princess enthralls all who encounter her - but ultimately, she must confront her fate, the punishment for her crime. Director Isao Takahata's final film was nominated for an Academy Award® and hailed as a masterpiece by critics.

Remastered and released in a deluxe edition double vinyl with 3 sides of music (etched Side D), housed in a gatefold jacket with new jacket artwork and liner notes.
